Our staff is composed of doctors, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, customer service representatives, and internal office personnel that all work closely together to give our clients and their pets the best possible service.  Each of us has something special and unique to contribute, striving to make Adobe Animal Hospital the best place to bring your family pet.

Michele King is originally from upstate New York, but has lived in Scottsdale for many years.  She graduated in 1996 from Long Medical, with her certification as a veterinary assistant.  She has been a veterinary technician at Adobe Animal Hospital since 1997. Michele wears her heart on her sleeve, and a smile on her face.  She has a passion for engaging with clients, and making their pets feel as if they are her own. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with her pets, and playing games on the X-Box.  Michele's fur family includes a spaniel mix, Sydney, and two kitties, Maddie and Quinn - they are all rescued and now living the spoiled life!

Theo Pyres grew up in New York and moved to Arizona in 1997.  She is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and has been working at Adobe Animal Hospital since 2001.  Along with her experience as a technician, she has also worked in pet stores, as a pet-sitter, and been involved with the Afghan Hounds from Granduer Kennels where she helped with breeding, showing, grooming, and training.  Theo attends many continuing education seminars and strives to ensure that she and all the staff provide compassionate, high quality patient care. Theo was awarded the "Veterinary Technician of the Year" for 2009. She also became Certified in Stem Cell Therapy in Oct. 2010.

Mary Quinsler has been the office manager at Adobe Animal Hospital since 2005.  She always comes to work with a big smile on her face, and can light up any room.  Mary enjoys spending time with her family and two Golden Retrievers at their family ranch, and can always be found with a good book in her hand.

Toni Jo (TJ) Amaral has been part of the Adobe crew for 10 years, and is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of experience. TJ has a passion for veterinary anesthesia, and is a big fan of Shih Tzus. She enjoys travelling to Payson on the weekends, and loves the beach in Mexico. TJ is loved by her little Shih Tzu, Sadi.

Brittany King was born in California but grew up in Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a BS in Biochemistry. She started working at Adobe Animal Hospital in February 2017 and this is her first time working in the veterinary field. Brittany is passionate about helping animals and would like to become a veterinarian one day. In her spare time, Brittany likes to read, spend time with friends and family, and listen/dance to KPOP, especially BTS. Brittany’s fur family includes a sweet senior black lab named Gracie and a spunky little Pomeranian pup named Pip.

Amanda Mosman, CVT comes to us from Las Vegas, Nevada. She has always loved all animals; her favorites include horses, moose, hedgehogs and orcas. Amanda started in the veterinary field in 2007, and later decided to further her career and obtain her dream of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Penn Foster College in the beginning of 2021, earning her Associate's in Veterinary Technology. In the fall of 2021, Amanda fulfilled her dream, passing her National and State boards, and received the title of Certified Veterinary Technician. In Amanda’s spare time she is usually found with a book in hand or taking photos. She also enjoys riding horses with her boyfriend. Amanda also enjoys spending time with her Australian Cattle dogs, Fish and Stetson.

Jazmyn Kadera joined the Adobe team in June of 2019, but has been in the veterinary field since June 2015. She is an Arizona native who shares her home with her handsome English Bulldog, Biggie. Outside of work, Jazmyn can be found either at the gym, hiking or enjoying time with her family.

Kaylyn Serda was born and raised in Albuquerque. New Mexico and just recently moved to Phoenix in June. She has been working in the veterinary field for the past three years and has a huge passion for helping animals. Kaylyn graduated, in May, from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and hopes to continue her education to become a veterinarian. Kaylyn plans to specialize in aquatic/zoo animals. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and spending times with her husband and their three dogs, Achilles, Freya, and Koda.

Alex Salgado joined the Adobe team in August of 2020, and has been a great addition as a veterinary assistant. Alex enjoys looking after animals. He shares TEN cats with his fiance - six are adult cats and they also have four kittens. Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing music and musical instruments, watching television, and playing video games. Alex's goal is to keep helping animals in any way he can - he enjoys making them feel comfortable in a, sometimes, stressful setting.

Chance Adkins joined the Adobe Animal Hospital team in September of 2020, and came to us with almost 12 years of veterinary experience.  He enjoys working with all kinds of animals, but shares home with two dogs and FIVE tarantulas.  Chance used to raise chickens, quail, and sugar gliders and he hopes to one day work with exotic animals.
