Dr. Thomas Newland, DVM grew up in Indiana, and now lives in Scottsdale.  He graduated from MacMurray College in Indiana, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  He attended the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1986.  He spent three years working at a companion animal practice in Indiana before moving to Arizona to work at Mesa Veterinary Hospital.  In 1991, he became the owner and medical director of Adobe Animal Hospital, guiding the practice as it has grown, and always ensuring that compassionate, high quality patient care is the main focus of the hospital.  Dr. Newland is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, and the Better Business Bureau.  Dr. Newland won Petplan Veterinarian of the Year in 2018.

Dr. Matthew Davis, DVM grew up in the Portland, Oregon area, graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State in 1996 and practiced one year at a small animal practice in Mesa, Arizona before returning to Oregon, where he practiced until 2007.  However, he missed the sunny skies of Phoenix, and returned to the valley in July of 2007, joining Adobe Animal Hospital in March of 2011.  For Dr. Davis, the most enjoyable aspect of being a small animal practitioner is being able to interact with clients and teach them how to provide their pets a long, happy, healthy life.  His areas of special interest include internal medicine, dermatology, and preventative medicine.  Dr. Davis is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Davis was awarded Arizona Foothill's Best of Our Valley Veterinarian of the year in 2018.

Dr. Christine Farrar, DVM grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and attended Kansas State University, where she earned a bachelor of Arts degree in Life Sciences, then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995.  Since then, she has practiced in Mesa, Tempe, and Scottsdale.  She was happy to join the team at Adobe Animal Hospital in June of 2017.  Dr. Farrar loves to help patients maintain a bond with their families through all stages of their lives, and has a particular fondness for senior pets.  Her areas of special interest include dentistry, pain management, and behavioral therapy.  Dr. Farrar is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.
